Varna International Airport (VAR) is the main gateway to Bulgaria's Black Sea coast. Collecting your rental car here is straightforward, but a little preparation goes a long way.

Where to Find Your Car

East Rent meets customers at Terminal 2, the arrivals hall. Look for our representative holding a sign with your name, or call us on +359 899 02 15 17. The hand-over takes approximately 10 minutes.

Documents You Will Need

• Valid driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
• Passport or national ID card
• Credit or debit card in the driver's name (for the refundable deposit)
• Booking confirmation (email or printed)

Age Requirements

Drivers must be between 23 and 70 years old. Younger drivers (21–22) may be accepted for certain categories — please enquire in advance.

Tip: Book Early in Summer

July and August are peak season on the Bulgarian Riviera. Availability — especially for automatics and SUVs — fills up fast. Booking at least 2 weeks ahead is strongly recommended.
